The Sun Rally Car

For several years Virgin Money co-sponsored The Sun newspaper's rally car and they extended the relationship by sponsoring Guy Wilks in his successful British Rally Championship campaign.

  

 

The Big V Race

In July 2006 Virgin Money launched a charity yacht race from Portsmouth to Cork. Television celebrity Ben Fogle was invited to crew on what was to be the winning boat. Other celebrites involved included round the world yachtswoman Dee Cafari who brought along Formula 1 racing driver Mark Webber and young mountaneer Rhys Jones for support at the start.

   

 

Phil 'The Power' Taylor

In 2007 Virgin Money sponsored darts legend Phil Taylor in the Sky Premier League of darts. This not only resulted in guaranteed TV exposure as Virgin were also able to secure additional national coverage through interviews and masterclasses with the great man himself.
